Well, I found out a more extensive description of my car troubles from the mechanic. My engine has died - which means I'm looking at 2k to provide the mechanic the ability to rebuild my engine. That sucks. HARD.

I suspect the cold weather here had a part in killing the alternator. So, my dad has advised that he switch cars everyday so that the thing doesn't sit idle for weeks on end. Mainly because I don't drive alot during the winter and also, not alot in general. I usually catch rides with friends of mine...
