Same. It's impossible to create so huge cave, considering the subnet is expanding infinitely.

Re: Submachine 10 and beyond Theories and Suggestions

Desert theory is very nice, but how the subnet locations are floating in the void? Via the karma energy or something? I always thought the subnet is situated in the separate pocket dimension.

Re: Submachine Universe Suggestions

Yep. When they built the Winter Palace, it is not quite Submachine yet. They built it above and underground. This took place in the original Layer. If you remember the map, they simply expanded it to encompass large amount of area, which is within the Core of the Layer. But they can't travel to the...

What does it exactly mean? So, when the 4th dynasty created the original submachine with plan and core, Mur had already lived there? I understand correctly?

I hope so too.
Speaking of spin-offs - how do you think, what The Engine will be about? I think it will have same System mechanics as the sub6.

Re: Submachine: Future Loop Foundation

^yep. Thumpmonks always delivers :D A thought: since Mateusz said the HD game takes place in the Layer 5 version of the original game, and we don't see many changes in it, that means that the locations must be near the Knot, right? also because we see a part of the Temple in the HD :P Awesome idea....

Re: Submachine 10: the Exit

About the void. I got it now. I was really confused with locations that "reside" in real world. Like the church(218), second tomb(043), tomb trap(770) the ouroboros tunnel(051), the ship(800) and possibly the lab. But now I think that could be light from scientific equipment(like we saw it...

Re: Submachine 10: the Exit

Well, I don't know. The only thing I can think of is that the 4th dynasty people created the Plan's antistructural architecture and all that, and then it unexpectedly "arranged" in a way that would be later known as a submachine. It was "naturally" created in the sense that peop...

Re: Submachine 10: the Exit

As I understood from all the notes and forum posts, the root was the first Submachine, created in the 1900s. The Core, Lighthouse, Winter Palace, the Plan, etc. were created earlier, in the 1800s, by Henry O'Toole and others. There were no portals yet, just the Plan, as the arrangement of locations...
