Re: Meditations
If we CAN be so biased by our culture as to believe things that are not true, that would apply to all beliefs, not just religious ones. . I would agree to that. Stereotypes is a great example of this being true. I think most countries have the same stereotypes for the USA, but otherwise I think the...

Out of the two choices: A. Everything we can witness exists B. Everything we can witness exists, plus another thing Why do you think the second one is simpler? It prevents me from having to think about the first thing, which then gives me time to do other stuff. Let the people interested figure it ...

Re: Submachine Network Exploration
Well, Nintendo is a big company and they filed the patent first, so probably it won't have that much effect, I don't know. But if it's Nintendo who sues Mateusz, he is in his right because he used the term before. If Mateusz claims Prior Art (e.g. says that he made it up first), they will just have...

Re: Meditations
I don't really know a lot about astronomy, but I have chosen to believe there is a god for now. Why? It is simpler. I think that is why most people do. If it was to be proven that there is no god, I would then probably think it was something else.

Re: Meditations
there is really no other way for the universe to have started YET Hey, where did you get that from? Take for example, the big bang as a theory. Nobody has any proven answer to what caused it (or maybe I am just excessively ignorant). I believe this is true for all other theories of how it all start...

Re: Meditations
I believe that if there is a god (and since there is really no other way for the universe to have started YET, I will assume there is or was some kind of deity involved), different religions are basically just different culture's ways of worshipping that god. Sure, some may have multiple gods, or so...

Re: the Kinematograph online
I am aware that Mateusz didn't "make" the movie (although I would argue that he kind of did, seeing as he made the plot and characters etc.).
The reason for why I only criticised the animation is simply because I think the story is perfect.

Re: the Kinematograph online
It kind of reminds me of the start of Up. Beautiful, the only thing that bothered me a bit was when Elizabeth was cooking it was a bit too obvious that she was standing in front of a 2d sprite. Other than that it was nearly perfect.
