The R means the real part of a complex number. For example, R(5+6i)=5. And the big sigma is a repeated summation (Σummation?). For example, Σ (i=1 to 3) 2*i = 2*1 + 2*2 + 2*3. Az explained it well. Imo, it'd be better if the language was shit hard, but if you'd be actually able to speak it fluently. Would be fun to actually make it. I have quite a few symbols (for the Hellish alphabet) drawn already.

I feel so dumb after reading this thread. The math classes at my school are very simple stuff - which is pretty easy for me - and I have been reading Wikipedia articles about some more advanced stuff, but I couldn't understand shit. I feel like I could grasp it, but Wikipedia just sucks at explaini...
