Resin? Then it should appear more solid-like, not? Resin usually takes a lot of time to flow since it's very viscous.

Even viscous fluids can travel fast when there's enough pressure applied. I think there was a pocket of resin behind the machine, and it flowed fast due to the pressure of the exploding machine.

I don't think Mateusz invented that resin back in 2007.

Here's something that's been bothering me - I'm unfamiliar with almost all theories because it's just so much to read, so if this has been mentioned before, let me know.

The Lab is messy. Tables, chairs, newspapers, the keyboard - it looks like something violent happened there. Maybe the lab team had to leave in a rush, maybe it was staged to look like something happened, maybe the place was searched. I read Jatsko's suggestion that Mur may have destroyed the keyboard himself to trick us. So maybe he staged the rest of it too? And yet, other rooms look perfectly fine. Thoughts?

well, there's no any evidence of struggle except keyboard. just full abandonment (as we know now - due to sublayers, if Lab is inside subnet)

for keyboard - I thought it was "shut down" to cut computer's usage by us during this big test. (the whole game was just one big test)

Sigh... I remember all my theories when I played this game in early 2008 for first time...

I thought that, too. It's actually a bit weird, an average lab is full of equipment, specimens, reports, all that. But that lab just has some beakers, not enough for a kiddie chemistry set.
no, you're not getting out of here. no way.
