I think I could count up to 6 chambers:

Portal Chamber
Colossal Head Chamber
Ixtab Chamber
Chac Mool Chamber
Stele Chamber
Calendar Chamber

I always thought that, even though there are 33 total screens, each room is still its own chamber.

Then the final screen (with the calendar) is its own special thing. This is because everything the Player does in the game is to make it past this screen (putting the bacab plates in and the jadeites and such).

So, it could be that this last screen is so important that it's set apart from the others and therefore not included in the final count. So you have 32 chambers + The Final Calendar= 33 rooms. Not totally satisfying, but that's just my view.

Edit: Congrats to Elodin for having exactly 32 posts at this point on the forum! :D

I must buy it.

Lol, the HD preview image is a smiling statue, and the SD image is the frowning Olmec head. Good economic strategy there, to make the HD version be happier than the regular online version :D
