Those are good suggestions, thanks! The first one is easy to do (just have to add a small transparent region above the banner), I'll change it tonight EDIT: tomorrow. I'll see if I can think of something for the other two issues.

Not really about any bugs but could the big wall behind the new TBG related picture be adjusted to the contrast of the new logo? Like, the metalish grey thing blends a lot with the logo right now... That would mean updating most of the forum color scheme tho :c

What background color do you guys think would be best? Something matching the logo's dark sky color or the beige-ish stone color? i'm really bad at this XD

I think taking the lighter blue parts would be the best, IDK.

I think either would work. I'd probably have to see examples of whatever the possibilities are before I decided on one that I liked.

I had no idea that all the things broke on the forum. Thanks for saving this history.

So, I'm playing around with styles for the next several minutes. The forum should look normal again soon.

I've slimmed the style selection a bit. Now, users may chose between "Pastel Forum 2014" and "Pastel Forum 2020" in the user control panel, the only significant difference is "Pastel Forum 2020" has blue colors and uses the older, blue-tinted background image. I'll try to tinker a bit with the hue/design in the near future.

Edit - I also just shunted everyone over to the new theme.

Oh that's so cool that you can set options like that. I just cycled through the three choices and tested them all out, they're all special in their own way lol

If I were to lean toward a color choice for the new theme, I'd maybe suggest making the current background color a little more blue-based, if for no other reason than to just have something even more distinct for the current generation. Though the current background image also fits perfectly.

We just had an issue with the DDNS, temporarily preventing any access. I've switched us over to static DNS for now, we'll see if this is going to be a problem in the long term.
