All right, great!

I sent you my private message with download and transfer details.

Hope that helps!

Alright. I've initiated the domain transfer, but it might take a day to complete. I'll report back later. (edit - or maybe up to 14 days? It's unclear.)

As for the forum backups, as far as I can tell, the backups AK just provided me with are in fact a complete backup of the old forum. I'm happy to report that with this, all forum attachments have been restored. With this, I think all user-generated content from the old host has been copied over, but do tell me if I've missed anything.

It's an interesting concept. It would definitely be much more unique than the current design and that might be good to distinguish the current generation. I'm leaning towards it personally, but the only thing I'd say is that the background's color scheme, while good, isn't done in a style that really evokes Mat's art, and that might detract from the identity we're trying to build. I wonder what others think though!

The banner itself is from Mateusz, so I'm tentatively against altering it. I'm definitely open to suggestions to make the background correspond better to the banner - right now, I've just dusted off the older, blue-tinted version. Personally, though, I'm satisfied with a simple pallette change to mark the hosting transition.

I am, also for a status quo regarding the website lay-out.

Yeah I was also thinking this, should have mentioned it. It's like a "forbidden ground" sort of thing, not to mention that he made this specifically for us as it is.

I'd keep the banner but change the backgound color to a more blueish grey. Current one clashes a bit.
