The Angel Ruins one reminded me a bit of the Ward music from FLF.

Vortex wrote:I liked the revisiting of old games. It's a good way to tie the series together, we already got our share of entirely new locations from Sub6 onwards, and the games felt far apart from each other. I don't think it's an uncreativity problem because Mateusz might as well have replaced them with entirely new locations, I think it was a good development choice.
Actually I liked the idea of revisiting. The implementation was the thing I did not like. It was too simple and predictable. I create a formula:

Go to location n --> Solve puzzle --> Find Karma Portal -->Go to Submachine n+1 --> Repeat 8 Times --> Finish Game

There was no mystery, no excitement. The game followed a predictable pattern.

Well, that's right. In that aspect it was like Sub8 or Sub3.
But the game was diverse and long enough to be interesting to me. Especially the Sub2-Sub1 part, which was also a break in the pattern.

Sub 1 part was the best. By the way what was your favorite new location? Mine was the storage loops. I am glad Mateusz finally put true "loops" outside SNEE. The diversity of patterns was fun to solve.

Mine was SHIVA. But it was disappointingly short, I expected more from the famous master computer. I also liked IIO, the interiors reminded me of Covert Front a little.

The storage location was fun, but I spent like 2 hours in there in my first play, it gave me headache XD

Captain's ship was excellent visually, but like I said before I felt that it was kind of a waste of space, so much room for so few things to do.
