I hate them as well. They freak me out when I was younger, I got scared when they kept coming and I couldn't find the crumb of Frosted Flakes. A single one crawled up my shorts while I was work on a Lego Model. It decided to take a bit at my sensitive parts.
I couldn't find it after the first bit. Hurt Like Hell. When it took the second bit I panic and pulled down my shorts to locate it. Smashed it on the kitchen Counter with my Dad's Lighter.
Not sure how I feel about it.
