PF memes
Re: PF memes
We can always count on you to crossover Submachine and politics in your memes
Re: PF memes
Not always, just since August. And it is something to build from, and some of them weren't that terrible.

Re: PF memes
...I have a feeling I've been bringing cringe to the table lately...

Re: PF memes
It's not like I have a leg to stand on when it comes to bringing cringe to the table... lmao
Re: PF memes
...But for the sake of engaging with memery, I have some thoughts on the Chad/Virgin one.
1) Doesn't save anyone. (as in: none is "saved", or that the world of the submachine remains the same, just slightly more stabilised).
I guess it's kind of the point. Not all damages can be properly restored. And with the emergence of S.H.I.V.A., after the collapse, human intervention in the submachine environment isn't necessary anymore, since S.H.I.V.A. is now sentient and operating in a different level from humans.
It's just evolution.
2) Same camera angle.
It's an aesthetic choice, convenient to the development of the games, too. But, yes, it can seem repetitive at times, even though you do get the overall sense and a clear picture of your environment every time.
3) Has someone else make the music.
I see it as a plus, actually
4)Is in a prison, doesn't want to leave.
(I know it's a joke on sub3 outro )
We do escape, though.
5) Has no interaction in the storyline.
That's because we're supposed to be a blank slate protagonist. (I wouldn't mind having more info about our character, though. For example, in the Portal games, we don't know much about Chell and she remains silent from beginning to end. However, the level of detail is both enough to connect our interactions with other characters and leave room for further speculation about our player character. Especially in the first game, where we don't explore the Aperture storyline yet, so less details are here).
(But I might be wrong)
6) Implies killing, but not showing anything.
I don't think we need to see the actual violence taking place, since the "horror" comes from coming across human remains and places where something terribly wrong happened for sure and being trapped in situations that we know things could end badly. Albeit, I wouldn't mind it being slightly better built up.
7) You can die in sub3
Yeah. And nowhere else for some reason.
8) Has only 2 characters with only one face depicted.
She's beauty,
she is grace,
she won't show her pretty face.
9) Broken story
I wouldn't call it broken, but it's not the strongest muscle of the whole thing.
10) Emo about Arms
lmao can't argue with that
11) Weird Romance
My favourite ship, is Liz's ship.
It just needs some repairing and maintenance.
And it's cannon.
and this is where the conversation ends
And that concludes my overanalysis on the meme above.
Have a nice day.
