I actually had friends tell me I should see a psychologist or something... But I'm too stubborn. I DON'T NEED ANY HELP, GAWD DAMMIT.

Has the feeling of not wanting to interact developed over time? In what circumstances did you make friends?
I think it might be in your interests to consider seeing someone helpful about this (not us, we're thousands of kilometres away and rather impersonal online, unfortunately). Is the feeling that prevents you from wanting to interact with others the same one that you call 'stubborn'? :s

Man, I feel for you, Gil :(

Sub10 only needs one more 5 star vote on JayIsGames to bump it up from a 4.7 to a 4.8 rating, if anyone's interested :D

I used to think that too until I was 15. If you have confidence the girls try to get you don't worry, you just have to overcome your irrational fears.
I am 21, I have a "9-5" job, but it does not pay enough for me to live alone. I have the irrational fear of rejection, the impression everyone is engaged in some way, and I'm really awkward around people I don't know, to the point of avoiding eye contact and answering only with single words or forced smiles. I also have the feeling I've failed as a member of society.
I have fear of rejection, but more specificaly to my family, any other people is fine. My auntie happens to have the same problem as mine.

Preach the Word Brother.
Its bad enough that my Mother has died, but what IS WORSE IS EVERYONE COMING TO ME!!!
I get the fact they want to convey their grievance to my situation. But its one thing to be stuck in a room full of people who are out of order. BUT ITS WORST WHEN THEY ALL START COMING TO YOU.

"They" say to tell a stranger is much more easier than telling a friend or family. At least friends or Family are some what understandable. I DON'T KNOW WHAT A COMPLETE STRANGER WOULD DO WITH MY SECRETS.

I know there is not allot of 'story time' villains who 'pretend to be someone their not to learn your secrets'. But again, we don't them. Hunter from Metro 2033 (The Book, not the Game) was a good prime example among worst subjects.

Okay, enough Rants in the Happy Board. I was originally going to post this for Gemini523 just to give him a good smile. Not to help him, just to give him a smile.

I think it will do more good here.
