I rejected like 15 persons back in high school, now I'm 24 and still haven't got my first kiss. I don't mind it though, for me it isn't about just finding any partner, but finding a suitable one.

I used to be so arrogant and confused. At least for two I helped to get them a suitable partner, that made me happy, and not becuase that would mean they wouldn't bother me anymore. I still had a good relationship as schoolmates with most of them after the fact.

It's a good thing that you do prioritize your own needs and feelings first, but try to also keep an open space for something different.
