Yeah...
I must disagree here. I'd actually like for the astronomer's likes and hobbies come through from the names.

I'm into astronomy.

I'll rename Mercury; Submachine
I'll rename Venus; Fallout
I'll rename Earth; THE MOST FUCKED UP PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE
I'll rename Mars; Boys, Boys, Boys! (Men are from mars, aren't they? gotta go there sometime... :D)
I'll rename Jupiter; Cranky Mateusz
I'll rename Saturn; Lord of the Rings
I'll rename Neptune; Blink 182 (For their song Blue)
I'll rename Uranus; Lol, there's no renaming this one, astronomers beat me to it
I'll rename... oops, Pluto isn't a planet anymore! :(

Submachine 1: Mercury - Small and quick. Basic, and the one that has gotten the most light.
Submachine 2: Venus - Deemed by some as the scariest. The atmosphere is thick of terror.
Submachine 3: Earth - Progress. A hallmark of humanity that could lead to its escape or its downfall.
Submachine 4: Mars - Missions everywhere. Research teams trying to survive by vessels such as Spirit, Opportunity, and Curiosity.
Submachine 5: Jupiter - Explore Jupiter's extensions (including Europa and Ganymede), try to find and retrieve signs of life and wisdom.
Submachine 6: Saturn - The beauty of it all; the almost flawless mechanism that one can only marvel at.
Submachine 7: Uranus - A world turned sideways by its flaws and shatters.
Submachine 8: Neptune - I'm running out of metaphors
Submachine 9: Pluto - Screw it

So for Submachine 10 we'd have to exit the Solar System :P
