One little question...
Sub10 is called the Exit. (duh)
Out of all the words Mat could have used, he used Exit. I mean, it's a pretty obvious choice for a word, but what else could he have used?
Sub10: The Escape?
"Exit" sounds wayyy more 'voluntary' than "Escape". I think that the Exit will be there, but there's a greater chance that the Player will indeed have a choice whether to truly exit or not. Maybe it'll have a dual ending like Sub3.
So maybe there will be a choice. If it was going to be called "The Escape" it would sound more sure that the Player will truly escape from the Submachine. But the word Exit to me suggests more of a Final Choice. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be a choice we have to make.

True.
But is the Exit truly an Exit?
Cause when the title for Submachine 8 came out, one of the problems people were confused about the title "The Plan", made it sound like the climax of the main series.
But it was still a location in the end.
Maybe the "Exit" is a location.

It is already a location, according to the old version of Submachine 4.

Hmm, now that I think, your interpretation makes more sense.
But I still think that Submachine 10's predominant color is going to be white, because we are in the layer of light, and the trails in Sub9 are white. There aren't many colors left anyways

hmm, I don't think Layer of Light will be main theme of Sub10. Just part of it.
