A boy was selling donuts outside of town, just along the main road.
He had sold all but a single box of donuts. So, feeling tired decided to take a nap next to a rock. Before doing so, he place all the money he made that day under the donuts that he didn't sell.
Upon waking up he found that the money was stolen as well as a couple of donuts from the box. A Judge walks by and the boy tells him what happens. After listening to the boy, the Judge said the culprit was the rock next to him.
Taking the rock to court, with a gallery present, the Judge ordered the rock to confess. He order 3 times for the rock to confess, and 3 times he was met with laughter from the gallery. After which the Judge went into his chambers and brought out a large glass jar with water in it. He then order everyone in the gallery to empty their spare change into the jar filled with water. Several people lined up and drop their spare change into the jar. After one person put his in, the Judge yelled "Thief!" and the man was arrested. He had caught the actual robber.
How did the Judge know it was him?
