Wow, so it really was the case that this game dropped, and alllllllllll of the community engagement with the game happened on the Discord ever since. This is obvious to everyone but it's really lamentable that this forum was not used at all to discuss the cap of the series that really pulled this place together.

It makes me wonder if it would have even really worked, with regards to discussing walkthroughs and spoilers and such. I seem to remember that previous releases would have everyone here in a frenzy, and maybe something about how Discord's messaging system makes people discussing the game easier? Maybe it was useful for that in a way that we'll never be able to truly compare. All the same, having that sweet public history would have been nice; it's a bit harder to go back and read the conversations on Discord if people wanted to, though I guess not much more so. It just feels there that every message written only sticks around for a couple days in the collective consciousness at most, even if you can still search for them.

Yeah...
I came to terms with community fully moved to Discord a long time ago. Now forum is just an archive of old good days.
Discord has its positive moments and more confortable fast method of posting, but yeah, it feels completwly different, and it's pretty hard to keep information there forever and search for stuff.
