You inspect the energy balcony a little closer.

You see a small panel on the resonator with the letters X,Y and Z on it. You press them but each time there is a loud buzz, and the padlock lights up.

You inspect the opposite side of the energy balcony, there is a small sphere; the receiver. If there is not a receiver for the resonator then the energy output will go on cutting through matter until the charge fades, it is currently locked so I can't do anything with it.
Wow I guess my memory wasn't as badly damaged as I thought.
(Items will be drawn in small width and be obvious)
(I've also dropped the arrow idea since it's pretty obsolete)
