A midset?

All people have mindsets by definition, including people with mental abnormalities.

It was mostly a joke: if one doesn't have any sort of a mindset - i.e. function in one's brain - you're dead. I really do think that one can't rid himself of a mindset though.

Have any of you guys used the "Teach Yourself" series of books? I'm quite interested in seeing how they perform outside of the language area, since I've gotten the one for Arabic and I really like it
