Not a bad start, but...

- The iconography is pretty good, but didn't fits well with the site
- surprisingly, it can be seen at 16 px, but you can't see the separation between parts
- the bland grey color isn't right and any other details are not needed since you can't see them at 16 px

I was thinking of having a Daymare character as the icon. Not necessarily the one from banner, but maybe a generic character with moderately expressive eyes and highlighted nose against the backdrop of blackness.

Any other ideas?

how about a wisdom gem? it would be visible at 16x16 px, though I'm not sure it would fit the style of the forum.

You don't have a house Sub? ... i made sure i got my house close to the bar sinse i practicly was the only one who was old enough to buy a beer ;)
