I think both Adam and Jamie didn't have anything for the show anymore and felt its a good time to walk away.
I think so too because it's starting to feel a bit stale, even if their experiments are constantly entertaining and worthwhile.

Gotta remember the proportion isn't quite 1:1
I'm sure it doesn't take 60 hours to create a 60-hours-long game, or one hour to create a Daymare game
Same applies to music, journalism, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc
The one thing that doesn't follow this suit are historical phrases said by important philosophers. They might take a minute to be spoken, but they'll last forever.
