The Prime Minister of Turkey is suspected of selling weapons to ISIS.
I hate to say it, but the U.S.A. hands are tied and have to support a democratic elective official.
But its no surprise that the Military are behind the coup. Their own leader is selling weapons that are killing their men and women.
And yes, the coup has ended in Turkey.

That is, if it was a real coup. Some are saying it was a staged event so the president could get even more power.

CONSPIIIRACIIIES~
These sort of scenarios annoy me. It's a real coup but it was actually a trick to give the president more power but then it wouldn't be if it were a real one but it could have been just an act
Fuck that, really. It boggles my mind. Maybe not so much the final result itself (although in this case I can't tell what's behind the curtain, anyway), but not knowing the truth behind something like that - especially when a government's almost been overthrown and then the "it's just a prank bro" theories pop up - that's when I start to flip the table. Why must things always have hidden conspiracies behind theeeem. ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

This case doesn't appear to come close to what you're saying. Like Bender mentioned:
bendy wrote:It is not the military attempting this. Only a very small group within the military. If it was a serious coup attempt the Prime Minister would not be able to speak so freely and the TV stations would shut down.

Easy, because it's interesting.

In this case, because half of the people hate Erdoğan they are desparate to blame him for something.
I even have some "friends" who wanted the coup to become a success. (Are you fucking kidding me?) That tells a lot about the inteligence of the people againts Erdoğan.

Okay, soooo....
I'm getting my new apartment soon.
My first one, and it keeps getting a bunch of problems; and I've not even moved in yet. Murphy's Law is at it again.
In related news: Some rando stranger taking my childhood home by November 4th.
Meaning "Get your stiff out by November 3rd, before I change the locks and its MY stuff now."
At least the dude is going to live in it. So some 30 or 40 years from now I'm going to come back for it.
