Re: Pastel Land Wiki
One hundred first rule of Pastel Land:
Forget about Walkthrough. (And its synonyms in current context: hint, clue, help)
Never. Never. NEVER speak this word while Sublevel is near. But the thing is that Sublevel is ALWAYS near, so... To save yourself from explosion, don't say this forbidden word at all. Don't even think about it.
Fact: Power of explosion is inversely proportional to game difficulty or time of game awaiting/development.

Re: Pastel Land Wiki
So here is something I have been writing regarding the pre-history of pastel land:
Comments?Pre Pastel Land (1997 - 2006)
Once upon a time on a mild cloudy day in Gdansk, Poland on March 12th, 1997... Poof.
The first post on the Pastel Stories blog was made.
VormkfasA nr 1
This posting would set the stage for the beginning of Pastel Stories and ten years later the beginning of Pastel Land.
Between the years of 1997 and 2004, Mateusz Skutnik published blog entries, showing off his comic books and graphic novels. It was in 2004 that Mateusz decided to invest his time in making flash games.
On September 2nd, 2004 Mateusz released his first game in the Squirrel saga, Funky Forest. During this period of time, his graphic novel Rewolucje 1: Parabola had been published and he was hard at work on the second installment, Rewolucje 2: Elipsa. The squirrel games would continue to be created and published, however, Mateusz yearned for more. His creative intellect caused him to sought out developing a game that would one day become the cornerstone of his game development, a game that would serve to entertain players for years to come.
It was a mysterious game, a short one, where you traversed through a series of rooms, in order to reach a goal of escaping. A common escape the room game, this was a mere experiment, because it was the first escape the room game Mateusz had created. However, it would not become the last.
On September 25th, 2005, the game was born. Submerged Machine. Submachine for short. The first episode in a series of ten games was released. In this installment it placed the player traversing through the basement, in order to escape the machine.
Popularity for the game soared through the roof.
"October 2nd 2005:
Well now this is strange. Due to enormous success of the game Submachine and thousands of players I had to remove all of my games from rewolucje.com, because Submachine was causing gigantic transfer, that would consume my yearly license in like three days. Right now Submachine is back online on a different mirror, and I’m looking for a new home for other games."
"November 15th 2005:
I’ve created an extended version of the submachine, especially for the frontsteps.com, where I can watch the stats of the game. This version of the game is tougher and has more rooms, in the meantime I started creating submachine2 on a different engine hoping to finish that game in january or february 2006."
"December 12th 2005:
500 000 users on submachine: extended version. Thanks guys. This is still a surprize to me, that this particular game gained such success in the internet. Once again thanks to Graeme and lazyLaces; And I frankly can’t imagine how many people have played the first Submachine, since it spread over the internet on many gaming portals."
