No, I wasn't expecting it to be considered really, it's just I only found out this afternoon that I am terrible at thinking up puzzle ideas, so I did this instead. It's nowhere near as good as the ones already given, that's for sure.

They all have a common idea though.
I like Babylon's suggestion :D

I like the story, nicely written :)
but I think Ancient Crystal is right, what we need now are ideas for puzzles and locations.

May I suggest we look at YouTube video walkthrough of the famous Portal series.

Because his story has got something similar in terms of "a person trap in a big abandon complex building".

Hmmm. I'm guessing right now there isn't much plot to some parts?
I'll put myself down as drawing and puzzles and ideas :)

Oh yeah, I remembered an idea I had!

Puzzle idea:

There is two levers in two separated rooms connected by a air duct. To move the lever, it needs a coin, and both levers need to be exactly at the same position. One of them is already at the correct position, and one of the characters have one coin.

Solution:

Use the coin on correct lever to measure it. Pass the coin through the duct, and character #2 uses the coin to measure and move the lever to the correct position.

Not bad puzzle.

BTW, first time I read your sentence as "There is two lovers in two separated rooms..." XD
