'To say' followed by a person is acceptable, but it's really colloquial and simply just doesn't sound good. A much better term when you wish to specify whom did you tell it to is, well, 'to tell'.

Indeed. Every mistake and error conceived in my posts has been meticolously planned with humongous foresight, an intrigue put into motion years ago, a grammar scheme deployed in order to comfort the inferior ones in their tremendous ignorance in the matters of syntax.

Between the months posting on this thread, I've deviated so much in the booklist I made...Cuckoo's Nest was on it, so was Dark Tower. Now I want to read Hellboy XD
I've seen the movie, want to read the book. And now I want to read the book even more because you said that.and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest felt more like watching a movie than reading. (I haven't seen the movie.)
