And I wish I could find a fix for this.
So I'm open to suggestion.

Unfortunately, I'm not tech savvy. I could ask my computer friend, though. If you give me something to tell him, I could ask.

I would simply copy and paste if I could, machine won't let me, so here a snapshot:

So are you looking for improvements, or a suggestion for a new system? Just so I'm up to date

What is the scanner model, again?

Also, I might have found a solution. Just need the model name.

Canon Scan:
Model CanoScan 4200F.

I hope this brings a solution.

Yep, this worked for most people.

* Download the Windows 7 (x64) 4200F Scanner driver & CanoScan Toolbox software at http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/c ... ndSoftware

* Run one at a time in this order in compatibility mode (right click on each -> properties -> compatibility)

It will complain it might not work right, but it runned fine for people even with the message. Just ignore it.

Also, you might need to run the DelDrv software to remove any previously installed drivers, if you tried it before.

Well, the Teleporter almost lasted a day.

Last night I put it on the table by the windowsill so it could catch the light in the daytime. This morning I woke up and realised I left my window open. The curtain hit the Teleporter and it fell on the ground, and the arms broke :(

I'm gonna try later. It makes me sad though :(
