well, finished it (without walkthroughs nor hints ).
there were many objects that I found no use for. though they might be for the achievements. I got 5 of 11 in this first play.

Btw I loved the ending

What? o_O I searched through the enitre game and didn't find any spoons! only 1 fork and a bunch of knifes... might it be randomized or something? or did I miss it?

it's randomized; @Alex Voytenko in escapegames24 i found users talking about the items, i got my answers there; and they were saying they also found spoons and stuff. I didn't find a spoon: instead I got a knife and a fork.

Most useless items are for in-game non-plot challenges that give you achievements only available in HD. I still managed to make some of the challenges.
