I watched It yesterday.
If I was child, I would definitely be scared.

O_o No, I'm not so much on the forum lately.

I see a lot more connections now than yesterday, but I just can't overlook the plot holes... :P Why was "It" in this town? Why was the super-intelligent evil force a very dumb spider that you can take out with your bare hands? Why were there bodies in the cave, when the victims were mauled? (This doesn't fit It's ineffective strategy of pulling seperated limbs into drains) Why appeared "It" as a clown that was far more creepy than actually alluring? What was the werewolf doing there?
The weird ending appendix with the woman coming to life by riding on a bike puzzled me, too

I've never watched Star Wars, but want to.
Should I start with the 1st movie that is the 4th part or with the 4th movie that is the 1st part? And where can you watch it, the DVDs are very expensive (Whole BttF trilogy for 12€ <> Star Wars Ep 4 for 57€) :P

Eh, in my opinion, you should go Episodes 4-6 first, and then decide whether you want to watch 1-3 :)
(I didn't really like 1-3 :( )

From My advice, star with episodes 4 A new Hope; through episode 5, the empire strikes back; to episode 6, return of the Jedi.

The prequels are shit. They almost destroy the franchise cause George Lucas, taking it on his own made huge plot problems that no story writer would do.

If you can try to watch on DVD. Yes they are expensive, but for the original 4 through 6 its worth it.
My main advice is to check one at your local library. They should have them somewhere in the collection.
(I don't know if your country has one, but they are helpful.)

Agreed. To simplify, here's the viewing order:

4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3

Be prepared to suffer through Episode 1 and 2 as they're the worst of series. Episode 3 is better, but still not as good as 4 or 6. Episode 5 is the best and deservedly so.

However, I disagree that the story is the problem. It is George Lucas' writing that deserves criticisms because with no one to even look and tweak his writing, many of characters came off awkward and poorly acted when the actors didn't have much to work with. While the prequel trilogy have its share of horrendous writing, you can get the sense of what kind of story George Lucas wanted to share as there were some great ideas in the scripts:

- Fall of Republic through fractured Senate stuck in a bickering gridlock.
- Rise of Empire with the Sith undermining the very system it was suppose to protect the citizens.
- Portrayal of the Jedi as not only wise and powerful, but also arrogant and sometime inconsiderate.
- The Chosen One that offers interesting look into how he falls to the dark side, which is against the movie trope.
- Lightsaber battles! You get to see how good Jedi and Sith really are in their prime. True that many battles in the movies look quite fake and wasn't set up well, but there are few that does it well: Darth Maul in 1 (one of best), Windu vs Sith in 3, Yoda vs Sith in 3, Anakin vs Kenobi in 3 (one of best).

Oh and love story? Pure crap. You won't see me defending it because holy damn, the writing is bad.

Personally I'm surprised CinemaSins haven't hit up the three prequels yet
