What's wrong with the fair?
About Turkey: The Deaths are probably not a lie...There's armed forces with tear gas. If not death, then seriously injured.

I don't think I can rant about my school, during discussion about Turkish fights...

We can have multiple discussions going on, Borys, it's alright.
And I see, Bender. If I may ask, do you know what caused this? I heard the Prime Minister is trying to demolish a park but its progressed to a protest on more than just that issue, but I haven't read what exact issue.
And it's sad that the American media isn't talking about this...We've spent a week on the Oklahoma tornadoes but not a word about this.

They wanted to build a mall at a park but people stood infront of the trees to protect them. Then the police came and sprayed them pepper spray and tear gas. Lots of people got seriously injured. But it didn't start it. Because of false media lots of people think people were murdered by the police and the goverment but nobody actually died. The goverment tried to fix it but they told stupid lies on TV which made it even worse. Now lots of people think people was murdered there and they protest it. They say police used illegal chemicals but Its most probably false.

I know that major News networks like Fox, are ones that are owned by rich greedy people, who have ties to Republican Congress members. I would think they wouldn't want to broadcast this without some "gain" from it. Plus, the fact it started out as a protest to a Park being torn down for a mall, not good for business for those people.
Edit: Ok now there is news about Turkey.

So basically it's all because of false media, the media is just worsening the starting problem i.e. the park issue. Sounds dystopian...I heard it was involving Freedom of Speech issues, now I see what it is.

I wasn't even talking about Fox, more CNN and NBC, all these channels and I haven't seen a thing.
why should we? don't go total apeshit on me, but i prefer to know more about issues in my own country than issues in others. we focus too much on other countries, rather than ourselves, and look where we are at? unemployment, gas prices, drones, martial law, immigration. the list goes on and on. things we don't do anything about, because we are too busy worrying about North Korea and its bullshitting about dropping a bomb on us.
I wouldn't go apeshit on you for that, you're absolutely right, but instead of sending our Military to Turkey, we could at least learn the facts and keep Isolationism. I have no intention of making this a Political Debate, so we might as well leave the pieces as they lie.

While I have not interest in starting a debate of any kind either, I'm not privy at all to this Turkey business (mostly because I was busy graduating and stuff) and hence my reaction to this is: "The USA cannot seriously be sending their army into Turkey? Please, no."
On the other hand, I think this Turkey thing was skimmed in the news, since I had heard the name Turkey in conjunction with the word riot before. USA has more coverage in the other countries than they have in it, thus. I don't know if that is all that bad, although, I was a bit surprised that the Finnish media even reported about the Boston bombing on multiple days.

Not that it really brings much to this conversation I think, but, um I've been to Turkey and I know a thing or two about it. And yeah, a substantial bit of the society hates the USA, and that is a fact.
