It something that was created by a animation design company called Valve.
Its like an Xbox, except it dosn't take disk, but is more where people with small games can present them in the community of Steam.
Basically, it like the way the internet and Pastel Games are, but are available on this Steam Community.

I think it's best to define it by a online game store, that instead of game disks, you get a download link.

Uh-uh. So if there was a downloadable version of SNEE, you could upload it to Steam and make it free for people who had downloaded a previous version, yes?

Unlikely - there are some free to play games on the Steam network. But, they are few and far between - games like CombatArms which were made free by companies making millions already.
But ultimately, it's Mur's decision. I'm just giving an opinion!
