It's not that he doesn't want it to be famous. If he didn't like that song the most or one of the most from his album, then he wouldn't have made the music video that made it famous in the first place. And PSY might have been prepared to play it at every show when it became famous in South Korea. But he obviously had no idea the insanity that would ensue when it blew up and beat mother freaking Justin Bieber's "Baby". When he made that music video he obviously didn't intend on even touring the U.S. (or other countries) let alone it becoming the most famous song of 2012.

Oh, that makes more sense. The way I saw it, he made the Music Video, but didn't intend for it to be famous whatsoever, even just in South Korea. I'm sure there are singers out there who don't like hearing their song on every single TV Show, but at least it gives them room to make a second #1 Hit, even though it might be impossible for him to mimic the success of "Gangnam Style."
