Ian and Luke take all nails from the jar one by one and examine them. They find nothing unusual.



Something tells them that if the hatch was really meant to be hidden from view, the key won't be easy to find. If it is even here...

I have four ideas for commands now...

first two:

1) well, it will be surprising, if Ian tries to open hatch with his keys and it works...
try it!

2) That sleeping bag where Ian was sleeping in. Did Luke bring it with him? If not - keys can be hidden there...

Ian tries to open the hatch with his keys... no use. They don't even fit in the keylock.

Luke found these two blankets near a dumpster when he was taking Ian to his hideout. Nevertheless, they look for the key there just in case, but their search is unsuccessful.

4) look under the box. Maybe somebody glued key on the box's bottom with duct tape?

They lift the box and examine it closely. Nothing to be seen under it.

Look closer at the ceiling. It looks like there's writing on it.
