if the porting goes right, you will still have all your posts in the new forum, you won't need to start from zero. and the ranks will also be the same. so what's the problem?

We still need to discuss many things about new forum. Posts count and ranks, for example. :D
We had ranks discussions. Now we need to decide final variant of ranking.

I have an especial idea for Vortex's Rank: onion

we could make ~100 ranks.
Onion, Noob, Omlet Maker, Spambot Smasher (refernece), etc...

noone listens to me... *sigh*

They do, they just want to extrapolate a bit

Personally, idk how I would feel if I was an onion.

I'd rather keep my Technician (and hopefully Notes Finder soon) status just like usual

A "Noob" Rank sounds too offensive, unless we create an account for Rednoob.
