That may work once, but as we all know, I want this game to go back into it whenever I want and pick it apart after I play through it. And I do NOT want laggy screens to get in the way.

I played Daymare Cat last night, and the outro music ended 30 seconds before the outro video ended. That's the sort of thing I DON'T want to experience in Sub10. (laggy screens aside)

And the Flash Player forums are shit.

I'm getting frustrated. I don't know, the whole announcement of it being only 11 days away makes it seem more negative to me than positive at this point.

don't even remind about that. I clearly remember each day of that shit...

I know man... I'm also frustrated because I know how important it is for you, I would be the same if it happened to me :/

if nothing works, and you borrow a laptop from a friend you can at least experience the first few plays, perhaps even find all the secrets without lag. It's unsatisfying but at least you won't have a bad first play.

EDIT: as Sublevel says, old versions might solve the problem. From what I can see the games are made in Flash 11.2, except Sub5, 8 and 9 which are made in Flash 10.0, and Sub6 in Flash 9.0. They might have some incompatibility with newer versions. But I don't remember if you tried that yet.

@Sublevel: Old versions of Flash player and Chrome don't seem to affect it at all. Good suggestion though.

I think at this point I just need someone who really knows the nit and grit about this type of thing to help me out. Flash Player forums are unreliable and, well, Mateusz doesn't have the time.

He's been a bit strange in his answer he gave me.
Mateusz Skutnik wrote:no, because as I said - it's a ram problem, not flash. I can't change how flash drains ram.
He said "because as I said" even though he hasn't told me this before. The last response I got from him before this was
Mateusz wrote: yes, I checked. Unfortunately we encountered no problems with it whatsoever. :/ I have no idea what happened o your end.
and he never mentioned Flash or RAM or anything.

So now, if it's a RAM problem, what does that mean? I can see the numbers jump in my task manager whenever I boot up a game, but I don't know how to fix that, if it is indeed strictly RAM and not Flash-based.

I'm rambling, sorry. It just seems like something that should be able to be fixed. Yet I can't find someone to put some time aside to help me. I've been struggling with this since the spring.

I typed "flashplayer ram" in google. There's much the same problem, I guess... did you read it?
Old versions of Flash player and Chrome
wait, u have only chrome?

do you have other browser? did you try to use old versions of them?

(I remember if you use chrome and you have both chrome's flash and individual flash, they conflict with each other, and you need to disable one of them)

How would you go about disabling just one of them?

Flash 19 is built seemingly right into my computer. And Chrome uses 19 as well.

see this https://www.enounce.com/chrome-disable-pepperflash

About Mateusz's response, it's a bit difficult to say without checking by myself but I don't think it's a RAM problem.
