Since the system has to operate mainly on a basis of mobile execuive units(robots) the gameplay would still be the same. And since it suffers from amnesia, a lot of the original plot points would be conserved. As for the continuation points, I say they'd be even clearer in the shape of establishing contact with new bots.

Don't mean to interrupt the train of thought, but I'll keep persisting :)

How about, ^that lot, but to destroy/disable the fried master protocol engine that prevents you from escaping? (It being slightly fried can't give any new orders, and therefore can't prevent you from doing anything -except for escaping, from the permanent command)
You need to do that, and then get out with the information collected.

This bit depends on whether c or g gets chosen.
You then arrive at a new base, full of new bots.
Hey...maybe the entire agency is using bots for safety, but humans for testing. Bots =no emotion= no empathy for prisoners = no problems.

If we can't decide, then base the decision on how well each one interacts with the in game plot, perhaps?

looks like Sublevel won't vote, so we'll close the voting to not lose more time.
g) has won, so we'll stick with that. We can modify it later with elements from c) or other option, but the whole point of the voting was to set up a definitive option, and if we start discussing again it will get eternal. We all agreed to vote, and we have to accept the outcome, that after all it is the one most people voted first.

About the AI thing, it definitely seems something interesting to have.

Erm... although the player being an AI would be interesting in the terms of game play, it does have some problems.
After the game's finished, we'd still be trapped in the facility, because that's where all the servers, computers, interfaces etc are for it. It couldn't leave, even if we got the main door open, it couldn't walk out. Makes an escape game a bit pointless if we can't physically escape, doesn't it?
Furthermore, the idea of having drones, AI, robots or whatever does not fit with the idea of a near future setting for the game. I've said it before, if we do a near future game, we can't have technology that's way advanced. It wouldn't make sense.
Whereas if we stick we a human, both these problems are solved. A human could escape a facility, and simply walk out. It being in Antarctica means it's a little harder, but we could work around that; maybe the facility has an airstrip with a plane on or something. Also, being a human makes sense with the setting. Human experimentation has taken place in the past, and possibly still goes on today under the control of major government powers.

that's true... I was thinking that the AI could escape through the Internet or something, but if we go with that story the idea of a mental weapon is kinda irrelevant to the story, apart from what you said.

Anyways, we have to recollect our ideas, everyone seems to agree that the setting happens in the Anctartica?

Maybe, it's possible. It'd have to be somewhere pretty remote, and Antarctica is about as remote as you can get.
Some other ideas are:
-Desert. (Sahara, Gobi, Atacama, etc)
-Mountains. (Alps, Andes, Himalayas, etc)
-Rainforest. (Amazon, Harapan, Ituri etc)
-Islands. (Tristan da Cunha , Bouvet , Jan Mayen etc)
-Caves. (Cehi, Sima de la Cornisa - Torca Magali, Krubera-Voronja etc)
-Offworld. (Moon, Orbital Space Station etc)

Any of those might work, but it's up to you.
