Re: rant board
I have a teacher (who teaches PE), who once said to my friend "Should up, or I'll smear your face with shit!", while entire class was listening.
Everybody hates mr. Kulesza, for unknown reason.

Re: rant board
So did I ever tell you about my ex math teacher who was a dinosaur
TT: I guess one could use those words to describe it.
TT: If armed with a predilection for the inapt.

*prepares to listen the story*
Re: rant board
Haha so basically the deal with her is that she was made fun of (as any teacher here really) yet sort of feared
It was, to be honest, the only really strict teacher I've had in my life, but also one of the best, looking back at it. And I mean she was STRICT, hot damn. Could hear a fly buzzing through the whole lesson. She kept people quiet, man. Speak a word and you're nearly done for. Altough, being pretty damn good at math, I enjoyed some privileges, as well as some other people who were skilled more at it. Whenever you were late for her lesson, you had to recite this exact phrase: 'Good morning/afternoon, I'm sorry that I am late, can I please sit down'. Alright, more formal that most teachers required it, but it's no big deal, right? One day she was late herself. And she said that very phrase with a slight chuckle. And she hardly ever did jokes - but those few times when she did break the seal of undying formality, it felt like a glorious boon. I should describe her appearance: firstly, her name was Regina, which is a quite archaic name, and also means a queen in Latin. She was also old as heck (she's not teaching anymore). Her eastern accent was pretty apparent. She would always say certain words differently, so that's one topic because of which she was laughed at. The other being that she was really old and had lots of wrinkles, so that's the dinosaur part. But really, she taught well if only you listened. She also never, not a single time, was absent from a lesson because of an illness. Some really old-time ideals and mentality, you know? Also, she gave a shitton of homework which noone ever actually did. She only checked it like twice a year, and everyone was content with not doing homework for the price of just two F's. Even though I'm sure she had her favourites like few of my friends and me, she was merciless when it came to that thing as well. I almost got a pretty bad grade at the end of the year because of that homework thing. The one time I actually did it and she checked it, man, was I smug about it that day haha.
So yeah.

Is it like a law, or something? Nobody is doing math homework. Never.

Re: rant board
I had a Polish language teacher i primary school, who was similar to miss Regina Dinozaur.
Everybody liked her, because she was a good teacher, but everybody hated her, because she was so strict. But also very honest.
Anyway, you all know the idea of "native speaker teacher" right?
So we had a girl, who came from new Zealand, to teach us.
And after she finished her volunteering she posted on FB photos, and added us (children from our school) as friends. She didn't think of hiding her private post though...

Well, everybody pays for mistakes. she deleted posts... but screenshots were taken by many of us.
