Why have so many "old" members left Pastel grounds? It sure would be cool to still have them here (bigger and more diverse Submachine community)

Most got heavier duties in life, that made their access to forum imposible.
Others apparently say that they lost the interest, but these almost always end coming back or become lurkers.

When I first joined this community in 2007, quite a few old members were young. They were in high school, I watched them grow up over the years. Death Road for example, a driving force in this community for many years, until he took his leave. And why did he leave? Because his life just got busier. He graduated high school, got into college, graduated college, found a job, got married and now he's out there raising a family.
The same happens to a lot of people, we find our callings in life, and we leave things behind. Though I wouldn't say they have left permanently. I have it on good authority that some of our lurker guests are older members.

Ok but still, so many people... was everyone still in school when discovering Submachine?
