The only reason I want it answered is because it will determine how I will draw anything that uses grass in the future (so I find it rather important).

Okay...maybe if you made the on on the left slightly thicker and blurrier, and maybe a tad taller?
The one on the right had a bit of weed killer taken to it by the churches gardener. It actually looks better as a hill from afar :?
So I DO have an opinion...sorry.

I hadn't tried that method earlier so it's aesthetics will improve with practice
