I've been working on a secret project, and decided to have some fun lol...

Geez, no matter how many times I try to make a Twitter account, I always get bored and delete it. There's just nothing to do and everyone I follow just posts meaningless stuff. For the fourth time, I must delete.

Good question.

It's kind of a result of being unsure about what I want in social media. Obviously my forum account and Tumblr are well solidified, but beyond that everything has been experimental.

What I've noticed, people have told me to get this account or that account, and none of the ones they told me I have ever kept for more than two months. This includes Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. I have a younger sister who wants to "keep me in the loop" with all my classmates and whatever from high school, and I have a couple friends from my graduating class who thought the same.

But what I realized: on those sites, anything they post is about them, about what they're doing in a moment of time on a on-the-whim thought. Nothing exploring new concepts or new ideas, at least nothing explored past 150 characters or less, or a certain filtered picture. There's no substance.

At least on here and tumblr, I hear ideas. Discussions. And I sought those two out myself. So really it's not me being unsure. It's me repeatedly doing something that I know I don't like.

Reddit is good too.

Same happens to me, I still don't have a Twitter and I don't really see the point of having one.
