Also, I am not sure if anyone noticed or not, but... CASTLE IV is in production!!! It been too too long since the last installment of one of my favorite Flash animation series ever (though it will be in 3D now with classic Flash style).

Thank you, Soullock.

Now I'm ready to exit this mad mess of Submachines I've been stuck in since 2007 :D

If the Exit is in fact what it's named.

It could be more than a simple physical exit for us to leave the Submachine.
It could be something that actually affects Submachine itself.

Taken from Wikipedia:

  • Exit is a command used in many operating system command line shells and scripting languages. The command causes the shell or program to terminate. If performed within an interactive command shell, the user is logged out of their current session, and/or user's current console or terminal connection is disconnected. Typically an optional exit code can be specified, which is typically a simple integer value that is then returned to the parent process. Scripting languages providing this command include sh, ksh, Perl, AWK, PHP, TCL, and others.

Interesting find AK. Reminds me about Sub3 and "disconnecting" from the Loop. :P

Makes me wonder if the exit is just us exiting from the particular line of events that we are in throughout Sub 1 - Sub 9.

The way Sub9 came across with "If you wish to leave the structure"

Structure. One gigantic Submerged Machine. We are exiting that structure, to what, the real world? I guess its a lot like Tron, the world of Tron is real but there are procedures to enter and exit the world. You can connect to the world to enter it, but in order to disconnect, its not as simple as connecting, you literally have to disconnect. If that makes any sense.

Something always told me that the Lighthouse and Lab were outside of the Structure. That we were at one point on the outside and then became involved with the inside for some reason that is yet to be known.

I think it's fairly obvious why the lab is inside.

But we don't know if the Lab was built originally on the outside or inside. The only clue we could glean from Sub_4 is the note about studying what the scientist thought to be the only Submachine.

Also, we don't even know if there is a world outside of Submachine. All we see are... Submachine. This was also hinted in Sub_4.
