You go back to pull the levers, but when you pull the third one from the left:

You see the gears move a bit and get stuck, and some black flakes like rust fall from the place where two of the cog wheels meet.

You see that there is another room where the wall on your (60's) right used to be, and a very bright light shining from the partially opened hatch.
