You have no idea what a "wisdom gem" is.
The Abacus wrote:Read the note next to the cylindrical container.
You read the note:

It says:
"60,
I've managed to capture a sample of Alpan nanobots and adapt them so that they won't infect Tronvans or other machines. Even so, they may still try to escape, so it isn't a good idea to leave them outside of a container like the one I sent you. I hope this can aid you in your research.
PS:We've managed to get the help from some of the scientists on Earth for the cure. They'll arrive at the fragment in 12 days. See you there.

-Nova"

Ask who is Nova.

60: Who is Nova?
Hygen: Nova is a scientist based on the Fragments.
60: Fragments?
Hygen: A series of asteroids orbiting a small star.
60: Hmm... can we go there?
Hygen: I think we can, there's a teleporter on one of the Fragments.
Snarr: I why do you want to go there?
60: There's something about the fragments that seems very familiar to me, like I've been there before...

You look at the other two:

Try and recall any memories based on what you found. If none or only vague ones come to mind, ask Hygen if he knows anything about them.

You look hard at the notes and try to remember anything, but somehow nothing comes to mind.
60: Hygen, do you know anything about these notes?
Hygen: I don't know what to make of the one with the drawing on it, but the second one with numbers looks like two equations. Looks like there's a coded message there.

Yikes. Two months of dormancy.

Ask for details about the war, its status and its origins.

(Finally! :D )
60: So how did the war start?
Hygen: Well, it started back on our home planet many years ago:
Image
A strange object crashed in one of the desert regions. At first, we thought it was a regular meteorite, but it was very unlike anything we have seen before.
Image
Some scientist brought it back to their laboratories to study it. It appeared to be some kind of mysterious alien nanobots, but they were dormant. They tried to pinpoint it's origins but came up with nothing.
Image
Then, something went wrong, and the nanobots created a virus that infected us robots. Those who came into contact with it lost their armour's colour, and eventually became the first Alpans.
Image
The Alpans quickly gained power and numbers. The virus not only affected robots, but any kind of machine. Eventually, they drove us out from the planet, and started fighting us wherever they could find us.
Snarr: Why did they want to fight you guys in the first place?
Hygen: Maybe they want power? Or they want to control the universe? No one knows for sure.
60: So what is the status of the war?
Hygen: It appears to be a stalemate. We managed to find a way to prevent them from infecting any more machines, but they still have control over many resources over various worlds. And of course, some species decided to ally with them.

An update :o
Hmm...

How do they prevent infection? And what species?
