I remember a platformer in which after beating a map you answered a question and then the game awarded you some object with symbolical meaning. The game had its own site. Can't recall the name. Help.

Is baseball actually a big thing over the pond? I guess that must be one of the national differences.
Baseball is our national sport (USA), and our national pasttime. Where we get together as men and celebrate the act of running around on a diamond-shaped playing field, I will not allow you to question that game in doubt, my friend.

It was basically one of those differences made when we became our own nation. We've played baseball in this country for over 140 years, from the best of my knowledge. The National League, the older of the two pro leagues that make up the MLB is over 120 years old, while the American League (2nd league in the MLB) is around 110 years old.

I'm just happy it's coming back, because that means the snow/ice will melt and disappear soon!

March 31st, can't come fast enough! :P (March 31st is Opening Night between Texas and Houston)

I don't cheer for either of those two teams, but I WILL still watch Opening Night fun on ESPN. 8-)

It's just that I've never seen any channel broadcast any baseball here, so I was a bit skeptical.

EDIT: Excluding a certain children's cartoon, however.

Well, we get Rugby on ESPN and BBC America, but I doubt they would want to broadcast Baseball overseas :P Not enough gore :P

Oddly enough, I've had a few former exchange students confirm that the World Series and the MLB playoffs are broadcasted over the pond. It's just that not alot of Europeans care. :P

Baseball is one of my least favorite sports, but I don't hate it as much as football. *proceed to throw rocks*

Yes. Football is probably the most overrated of sports.

We're talking about the same football, right? The one with the non-spherical ball?

Oh, no, I'm talking about what you call "soccer".
