First: I am going to end my thread, I will not post any negative messages ever in this thread even I am sad
Second: I am not going to seek any help from professionals, because I believe that it will not solve any problems, and the bad situation only appears few times
Third: thank you guys for respecting my situation and helping me, I definitely won’t forgot that
Fourth: As my messages is still a memory of my life, I won’t delete the post (historical reasons)

A last, I am going to finish one square on the pixel project. let’s forgot the past, and gives hope to the future.

Scrolling back through some old posts and seeing broken links from when I've uploaded some images saved from Discord; makes me sad.

I mean, any time I see a broken link and a 404 image pop up in its place I get kinda sad. But also at the same time, lately I've been thinking about how I've been sharing images using imgur, and it hit me one day that I've just been uploading images to this site with no way to control them later. I know you can make an account and log in and post under your account, which I imagine allows you to manage all the images you've uploaded and delete them later or whatever. Kinda wish I did that from the get-go, because there's a lot of stuff I've uploaded for Submachine that I wish could be consolidated under a profile of mine. But instead they're just floating around in the wild imgur space forever, untethered to anything.

Also, I kind of want to delete a lot of the images I've uploaded? I think this is due to knowing more about AI scraping and general scraping techniques, and feeling some instinct to protect the stuff I create and upload. Thinking more broadly about how omnipresent social media companies collect people's data, it's made me reflexively want to scrub a lot of my online presence altogether.

But hey, I'm never gonna delete any of my forum posts, so there's that! This place has always seemed relatively safe, lol

Also gonna shoot WiQ a message to see if there's any salvation for my errant image posting - I don't expect that there is, but I know they use the site a lot.

In last decade, various image hostings deleted my messages by various reasons. Always makes me cry too. :'(

And to avoid situations when some page on some site suddenly gets deleted (always makes cry a lot), now, I always save it in Wayback Machine. So, the data I'm very interested in, it won't be lost to me or other potential viewers. (it doesn't work with every site, of course, like Discord) (very important pages I always save to local PC)
