Oh you mean the blue lines? Maybe something similar to Sub9, with the white lines? The statue in Sub4 is meant to represent a deity, and in Sub9 we learn about this deity. I also just noticed he removed the exit location from Sub4, went back to the submachine through continue and it took me to the statue... hm.

Pretty sure taking back to the Statue is just for secrets, right?

I thought that the blue lines was just another version of a blue karma portal.

Not to mention Mur looks like he's driving a badass car

So I'm almost positive this has been discussed before, but I'm not seeing it in search results so I'm gonna talk about it.

I recently saw the Back to the Futures on my trip home two days ago (all right in succession, and I was fading in and out of sleep the whole time, so I might be missing some important points here) and I was very interested in the flux capacitor mentioned. I also couldn't help notice the similarity between its shape and that of a Sub4 portal.

I know there's always some talk of time travel in the Submachine series, and this is especially hinted at in SubVerse, where we view familiar locations at different points in time. So I'm just gonna bring this up, I don't have any theories attached to it, just want to see what y'all think :D

:) :) :) :)
I never made that connection before.
Good job. Time travel may be a factor here.

But when it comes to the Lab Portals, I don't think that is the case. Its more like the time difference between the 7 layers. That might have been the case since one Layer says Murtuagh is coming now, while layer 7 says someone like Elizabeth came 742 years ago.

This is true. The Layers do exhibit more evidence toward time travel. Though it is interesting to see all those portals in SubVerse...

I had a small thought a while back that somehow the Layers all showed the same location, but possibly at different times..but idk where to go with that

Has this really never been touched on or noticed by users before? I guess I just assumed that Back to the Future was common knowledge around here (much like Cube series, etc).

Wonder where this will go, then :D
