the name "submachine Zero" was a small tribute to Cube Zero.

mystery solved.
All right, I haven't watch that movie yet, but I read the Plot on Wikipedia.

Cube Zero was all in all just a nick in the huge main plot. Similar to how Sub 0 is just a nick into the huge Storyline of Submachine.

Only number 2.

Still trying to find a copy of 1 and 0.

But I know what happen in each movie. Cube 0 only gave a little amount of information about whats going on with the purpose of the Cubes and who is "running" them. That little amount was just to help support the plot in the Main storyline in Cube, and Cube 2. Like how Sub 0 just tells us kinda where one of the Wisdom Gems are in Sub 5 came from.

When I said "Nick" I meant was "nic" like how you "nic your thumb on a thorn on a Rose Stem.
Like how we only manged to "scratch" the surface of the SubNet.

No, I think you mean "nip", and that is slightly more than scratch, because it hurts, I think.
Is this my final form?

The Submachine doesn't control us. In a way, Mur did - We followed his instructions to get out of 2, 3, 4 and 5. However, if the Submachines controlled us, how would we able to get out of any of those puzzles in the first place? It would trap us there, as it's assumed it's trapped the other "The Players."
Then why did the end of the Game say this?
You have collected the ancient crystal of wisdom...
wisdom gives you endless power to find your own path in life...
may it serve you well
I take it meant the person we'er playing had been trying to gain control over his own life.

Interesting interpretation, but I took it as a general statement/life lesson to those who play it.

But then look at the SNEE version. Look like someone was trying to trick someone with the fake temple.

Yeah, I had always wondered about that.
Now that I think about it, perhaps the set-up in SNEE was to point out it was from Cube Zero.

No?

Maybe it's not the same temple
Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.
