Well From the looks of it markiplier isnt that great with the puzzles in submachine, it probably took him about 30 minutes of recording to get that 9 minute video, plus even longer cutting it down. not an efficient use of time if you ask me, so I dont think he will do it for videos unfortunatly. :/

as for game theory, they usualy go for big popular games that most gamers know about, submachine is a bit of a cult classic.

Thats my idea anyways, but i think if either of them do a series / video it will bring a lot of well needed attention to this fan community and the games in general, but that seems unlikely. sorry to be the pessimist around here.
