July 14th, 2015 lightning storm. Most of the lightning was to the south, but progressed towards the north-west, the storm finally hit a few minutes ago. Got six minutes worth of lightning. And yes, this happened tonight, about 11:30pm EST.

Update: Two more storms came through, got some more lightning pictures. Compiling them now.

And here is those pics...

Nice Anonymous.
Also, those storms blew out the phone line at my home.

So the internet is down in most places.
But still....love how you were able to catch a lighting bolt.

ball lightning is like an actual fact lol not a thing to believe or not to believe in
TT: I guess one could use those words to describe it.

Yeah, it's not a question of whether it exists or not, it just currently lacks an accepted physical explanation, like dark matter for example.

Yay another massive storm on its way and half my state is under a tornado watch!

^_^

Better yet, its still daytime, storm should be here within 15-20 minutes (its coming through fast) so not only expect rare daytime lightning but also shelf cloud pics. I'm getting reports from lakeside friends who say there is a big nice shelf cloud headed this way.
