The Layering Theory
Theory history: Submitted 2014-10-31, Likely 2016-01-13
NOTE: The Layering Theory has been recorded twice in different wordings. Both parts have been put next to each other in one theory; however, because editors are discouraged not to change the wording of theories made by other people for any reason, the two parts have remained untouched or joined together.
On Submachine 4, a note says that if we are not the first one to be sent in subnet, therefore maybe we are not the last one. But why can't we see other people in Submachine? Where are they? Are they long dead?? Or they are alive but we just cannot see them?

As Mur uses his Karma abilities it continued to pierce a dimension, splitting it into what we call "Layers". Remember the small VTR-like thing in the Church/Mosque we saw in the Submachine 8? When we unlock new locations, a new button in the VTR will be unlocked. When we're done solving various puzzles, it views a perfectly parallel dimensions. It will show us the words: "The Plan Sector_9".

Same as the layers. The layers are interlocking perfectly with each other. This is what Murtaugh sees. And with his karma ability, he can change from one layer to another.

That means that 'maybe' there are still person alive wandering in the subnet (aside from Liz and Mur). We are just in a different layer. If we can only exist in one layer at a time, then why does Liz and Mur exists in all layers? Mur can exist because he had his Karma abilities that can manipulate layers. Liz can also exist, because only Liz can solve Mur's critical puzzles and plans. Well, somehow, "maybe" Liz also have Karma abilities opposite to Mur.

Back to dimensions, in Submachine 8 secrets said that the third dimension is just a 'copy' of the original one. Therefore, why is the third one have major differences from the others? It's because there are quantum changes. When we copy anything, it doesn't mean that we also copy the wholeness. We can alter the 'copy' with the choices that we have. For example, when we photo copy a book, and do some scribbles on our copy, it doen't mean that the original one's will also have scribbles on it. Same as the layers. There are different elements on each of the layers.

The person who wanted to bury Mur in the lighthouse can be found on another layer. Maybe they can be found on other layers too. Why does Mur wanted to take over to those who wanted to bury him? It's because they know what the plan really is. They know a big part of what the Submachine is.

This support my first theory. Why can't we see other people in Submachine? Where are they? Are they long dead?? Or they are alive but we cannot see them?

As Mur uses his Karma abilities it continued to pierce a dimension, splitting it into what we call "Layers". Remember the small VTR in the Church / Mosque we saw in the Sub 8? When we got there, it views a perfectly parallel dimensions. When we unlock new locations, a new button in the VTR will be unlocked. And after we unlocked all the locations, it showed us the words: "The Plan Sector_9"

Same as the layers. The layers are interlocking perfectly with each other. That means that 'maybe' there are still person alive wandering in the subnet (aside from Liz and Mur). We are just in a different layer. The notes are placed properly and not hidden because they are not affected by the layering of that dimension. But why Liz and Mur exist in all layers?

Mur, because he had his Karma abilities that can manipulate layers. And Liz, because only Liz can solve Mur's critical puzzles and plans. Well, somehow, maybe Liz also have Karma abilities opposite to Mur.

Back to dimensions, they said that the third dimension is just a 'copy' of the original one. Therefore, why is the third one have some differences from the others? It's because there are quantum changes. When we copy a thing, it doesn't mean that we also copy the whole process of it. We can alter the 'copy' with the choices that we have. Same as the layers. There are different things on each of the layers. Maybe the person who wanted to burry Mur in the lighthouse can be found on the fifth layer. OR maybe the one who wanted to bury Mur can be found on other dimensions too.

Why does Mur wanted to take over to those who wanted to bury him?

It's because they know what the plan really is. They know a big part of what is the submachine.

Also, in sub 7, Liz was about to accomodate us to her lab then it was just a short period of time. What if Liz was escaped to her lab before we arive at the temple? The Karma arm pierceth dimensions. Dimensions include the time and space.
The Karma Masters Theory
Theory history: Submitted 2014-10-31, Debunked 2016-01-13
On Submachine 2, Mur created a fixed-point portal to escape the lighthouse. Later on, we found out that there are people who wanted to bury Mur inside the Lighthouse. Then we got a clue that Mur wanted to go transfer to another layer mainly because he wants to go after those who planned to buy him in the lighthouse. If the lighthouse can be found on a same single layer (probably layer 3), then how can the people who wanted to bury Mur change their location?

It's simply because they also have Karma ability like Mur. They can change from 1 layer to another. Let us call them temporarily as "Karma Masters". At the first chapters of Submachine, Mur acquired a Karma ability in Kent Falls. He did attempt to use his Karma arm several times and studied how to use it. Mur also learned how to use his Karma ability in terms of layer transporting.

With Mur's ability to change location at any given spot, he can be the most powerful Karma user at that time. When he changed location while transferring from 1 layer to another, it will change direction of everything. That means it will shatter the two dimensions (and may also affect the third one). Karma masters saw the consequences of his actions. That's why they sent them Einstein. A cat that controls Karma portal. Einstein is sent to watch over Mur's actions.

Karma Masters soon know that Mur became to much powerful. They sent Mur to the lighthouse. But he managed to escape. Now he is going to trace all the location and find the ones who buried him in the lighthouse.
Memory Loop Theory
Theory history: Submitted 2014-10-31, Debunked 2016-01-13
e have many many clues regarding loops in Submachine. Also, in Submachine 3, the more we solve the problem, the deeper we get. The only way out is to put the green leaf into a loop escaping machine. Submachine 3 demonstrates what a submachine is.

A note from a Submachine explorer says that if we are not the first one to enter the Submachine, then probably we are not the last one. But where are the others who did enter the submachine? Probably they already solved the Submachine. Submachine 1 - 8 are endless loops. We only get deeper and deeper when we solve puzzles. The only way to get out of the loop was to untangle it. If there's a way in, then definitely there is a way out.

The things or people that has been inside the submachine are not as close as we thought. Submachine 1-8 are looping infinitely both time, space, and memory. Again, solving riddles in submachine will just make you dig deeper and eventually, trapped inside it. That's why there is a Navigator. It helps you navigate through different layers at a time. Activating the 9th layer is the key to untangle the infinite loops of submachine.
Mur's Plan Theory
Theory history: Submitted 2015-12-20, Debunked 2016-01-13
What if Mur is not the first one who discovered Submachine? Maybe there are poeple too in other dimensions who know the plan. The Plan is an idea or something that will really alter one's mind. It will make a different point of view of a person, that's why it is concealed. After Mur acquired his Karma arm, it pierce the dimensions of reality.

Great Civilizations may start exploring the submachines and hybrid technologies. Or maybe, the Exploration teams know that Mur hired them to discover something useful, something unusual. This is the root transporter system. The root transporting device (cipher plate device) is a transporting mechanism that allows an individual to transport to different areas connected to it. It's like a close network. On Sub 5 we traveled 6 locations with cipher plate 1 and 2. The transporting device has only to slots for cipher plates. We can name it as x and y. A cartesian plane. 2 dimensions. There are total of 6 cipher plates but we are just granted to have 2. The next transporter is a 3 point transporter wherein you can put up to 10 values (from zero to nine) for each intercept (x,y,z). In a rectangle, (length, with and height) these intercepts will pinpoint an area inside the rectangle or any given space. So using that transporter, we can travel areas inside a closed space. This transporter can only travel in 1 dimension. In sub 6, we got ahint that the area where we are moving is the 3rd dimension. The 3rd dimension is not the original dimension. It's just a copy of the original one.
