But still, it turned out nice. And it's just mspaint .I still didn't choose/invent my drawing style... It is kind of hard.

So, what should I add? What bad do you see in this pic?
Re: PROJECT X (by Sublevel) - development thread
Apart from what I said, it's just fine for me. Of course you could make it much more detailed, but that's counterproductive if you wanna draw images quickly for the game commands, not?

The perspective's a bit off, but it's fine if we want to see as much walls as possible in a picture.
Apart from that, there's nothing wrong I can see.

I may be just being picky: but the perspective is slightly inconsistent. Apart from that, it looks really goodSublevel 102 wrote:So, what should I add? What bad do you see in this pic?
Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.

Re: PROJECT X (by Sublevel) - development thread
I decided to draw Test 1 room in RQ's and ALK's styles. For comparing.
Of course I took less time to draw them, but I think my rooms should include more colors/details...
Damn, what I should to choose?..

Definitely I prefer the second one over the first.
Those fat lines hurt my eyes...
EDIT: about the detail, how often do you think you will update your story? Once a day? Twice? Once every 2 days? That affects how many details you can put in without running out of time.

Well...how often do you think you will update your story? Once a day? Twice? Once every 2 days?
I'm planning VERY LONG story. And thus, I should update it as fast as I can. (Or we will meet end of times, before we finish it. XD )
I will prepare(draw) ALL cutscenes, rooms, actions, character's positions, etc. before I start the story.
This is what I'm planning.
Re: PROJECT X (by Sublevel) - development thread
Then you can allow yourself to add as many details as you want to the scenes.
But characters should be kept simple, I think, because if someone gives you a good command that you haven't prepared you'll have to draw a new position for the characters.

I am planning to draw characters more detailed, so I need to learn how to draw fast and good. XDBut characters should be kept simple, I think, because if someone gives you a good command that you haven't prepared you'll have to draw a new position for the characters.
Do you want to see Test Picture 2: character?
I think it will not be great spoiler. And it is better to fix something bad now than late. :)
